KDCJ Mobile Notary Service will take reasonable measures, consistent with applicable Georgia notary laws and regulations, to protect the privacy and confidentiality of personal information obtained in connection with notarial services.

Personal information will not be disclosed to third parties except when disclosure is required or permitted by law, necessary to provide requested services, or otherwise authorized by the client.

Notarial Records

KDCJ Mobile Notary Service will maintain a record of each notarization transaction as required by applicable laws and best practices. Notarial transaction records will be retained for ten (10) years, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable laws. Such records may be subject to review, inspection, or production upon lawful request by the Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority, law enforcement agencies, courts, governmental authorities, or other authorized regulatory or compliance agencies for purposes including verification, investigation, accuracy, and legal or regulatory compliance.

Third-Party Service Providers

KDCJ Mobile Notary Service may utilize third-party service providers, including online payment processors, scheduling platforms, or other technology providers, when necessary to facilitate notarial services or process payments.

Such providers will receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform the requested service. Third-party providers are responsible for their own privacy practices, security measures, and compliance with applicable laws governing their services. KDCJ Mobile Notary Service will take reasonable steps to utilize service providers that are appropriate for the services being provided.
